| Brigade
Pre-Steppers range in age from 4-6 years old. Under the
direction of their Coaches, they
learn drill team basics, coordination, and how to follow
direction. Their routines consist of nursery rhymes and
other learning based songs like ABCs & 123s, I'm a Lil
Teapot & Rock a Bye Baby. They march at their own pace
and beat before moving up at the age of 7 to the faster
pace of the Brigade Junior Drill Team.
Pre-Steppers do not have
officers. We allow every girl to be equal and enjoy the
whole drill team experience. In this group our girls
begin to learn communication at the young age of 4.
These girls have a "Caller" that calls steps for our
members to respond to, allowing the coaches the freedom
of keeping everyone on track and not worry about
handling too much at once.
